What is included in a Travel Talkies tour package?
Hotels with breakfast, a private cab with a Himachal-licensed driver, all toll, parking and driver allowances, sightseeing exactly as written in the itinerary, and support on one WhatsApp number for the whole trip. Flights, train tickets, entry tickets and adventure activities are quoted separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for. Rohtang Pass and Atal Tunnel permits are quoted on request, because driver charges vary a great deal by season.
What does a Shimla Manali tour package cost?
Our Shimla Manali tour package starts from around Rs 8,900 per person on twin sharing for six days and five nights, land only, in standard hotels. The final price depends on your travel dates, hotel category and group size. Peak season in December and January, and the May to June rush, both carry higher hotel rates. Send us your dates and we will price it exactly.
Which is the best time to visit Shimla and Manali?
March to June is peak season and pleasant for sightseeing. September to November is the clearest for photography and has thinner crowds. December to January is when you get snow in Kufri, Narkanda and Solang. Spiti and Ladakh road trips run from mid-June to mid-September only. We would rather talk you out of a route that is wrong for your dates than sell it to you.
Can I customise the itinerary and the budget?
Yes, and most of our travellers do. Every package on this site is a starting point. Tell us your dates, budget per person and travel style, and we rework the route, hotel category and pace before you pay anything. Changes are free until you confirm.
How much advance payment do you need?
Twenty-five percent confirms your hotels and cabs, and the balance is due seven days before departure. You get a GST invoice and a written cancellation policy with your confirmation. Driver details and hotel vouchers reach you 48 hours before you travel.
Do you handle group, family and corporate tours?
Yes. We regularly run school, college, corporate and family groups of fifteen to a hundred and twenty travellers from Delhi, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and South India, including Volvo and tempo traveller transport with a tour manager on board.
Are you a registered travel agency in Himachal Pradesh?
Yes. Travel Talkies LLP is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and approved by Himachal Pradesh Tourism, and we share our GST number on every invoice. We have arranged more than 12,850 trips since 2013.
